Saxton Bampfylde is one of the most research-intensive firms within the UK search industry and research is the bedrock of our success.
Typically we undertake two to three times more research per assignment than any of our competitors. This means approaching a wide range of people. It’s why we allocate a dedicated researcher to every job. Across the industry, researchers typically work on six to eight projects at once. Ours focus on just one.
It’s also why we employ almost twice as many researchers as consultants. All our researchers are highly-trained professionals with their own areas of expertise. Curiosity and analysis are at the core of our work and we approach each assignment with a fresh perspective. We do not believe in using the “same old names” for one assignment after another. Nor do we look for clones of the previous incumbent. We aim to understand the job properly, then find the individual who can best fill it.
At the end of each piece of research, we provide our clients with an in-depth report of the extent and scope of the work undertaken, combined with qualitative feedback from the market on the organisation and the opportunity.
