With a rich history spanning over a century, it remains at the forefront of musical excellence, delivering over 100 concerts each year across the UK and abroad, alongside regular broadcasts on BBC Radio 3, television, and streaming platforms. The BBC Philharmonic is now seeking an ambitious and creative Head of Artistic Planning & Production to join its senior leadership team. This pivotal role offers the opportunity to shape the orchestra’s artistic vision, designing spectacular seasons of live performances, recordings, and broadcasts that captivate audiences locally, nationally, and globally. Working closely with the Director, conductors, and musicians, the Head of Artistic Planning & Production will cultivate relationships with world-class guest artists and conductors, forge exciting partnerships, and explore bold new ideas to grow the orchestra’s artistic scope and cultural impact. With a strong commitment to diversity and inclusion, they will ensure the orchestra reflects and engages with the vibrant communities it serves.
