Established in 2018, Border to Coast Pensions Partnership (Border to Coast) is one of the largest pension pools in the UK, formed by twelve like-minded Partner Funds committed to improving investment outcomes by realising the benefits of scale offered by pooling. This is a really exciting opportunity for an experienced professional to join the board of a dynamic, ambitious and young organisation at an important time in its development. The successful candidate will be an outstanding stakeholder manager and senior leader, capable of contributing strategically to the Border to Coast as a whole and overseeing the development of a future-ready remuneration strategy as the organisation continues to evolve.
Candidates will bring commercial board-level remuneration committee experience in a financial services setting, and in organisations experiencing growth and significant change. They will also be capable of sitting on, and actively contributing to, Border to Coast’s Audit committee. It is important that candidates understand the complex stakeholder environment in which Border to Coast operates, and have an appreciation of, and affinity with, the public sector.
