We are looking to appoint an exceptional strategic leader as our new Chief People Officer. The successful candidate will work as a key member of the Executive Leadership Team, reporting into CEO Mike Adamson. The Chief People Officer will lead the development and implementation of the organisation’s People Strategy. Our ambition is to be the charity of choice for staff, volunteers and supporters wanting to make a difference for people in crisis. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in shaping and maintaining an organisational culture in which volunteers and staff are inspired and motivated, and one which truly enables all our people to support the organisation’s priorities now and in the future. S/he will develop and oversee a high performing HR team.

The successful candidate will be an experienced HR leader, who can demonstrate a track record of functional and operational leadership with experience of managing significant organisational and cultural change. International experience and an understanding of not-for-profit organisations will be advantageous though not essential.
