This is a unique opportunity for a Director of Finance to take on a senior role leading the finance functions of Buckinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust (BHT) and Buckinghamshire CCG, which look after more than half a million people in and around the county and are part of one of the first integrated care systems in the country.

The successful candidate will be accountable for advising on all aspects of financial management in the Trust and CCG and developing appropriate financial strategies and plans to suit a changing NHS environment. They will provide exemplary corporate leadership and governance, showing dedication to the delivery of healthcare services that meet quality standards, are value for money and are provided with professionalism, compassion and care. The Systems DoF will be required to handle highly complex organisational and governance structures, providing robust financial control and broad strategic input to both organisations as well as the Integrated Care System.

The successful applicant will have experience operating at board level, with a strong understanding of the challenges faced by all parts of the NHS. They must be a committed team player with the energy, vision and intellectual capacity to strive for continuous quality improvement.
