Our client is an independent, London-based real estate business, forming part of a larger global property group with assets in Hong Kong, Australia and Canada. Since its establishment in 1995, the portfolio has grown to 14 properties and over 1.5 million sq. ft. of predominantly office accommodation focussed in central London. As the business has grown, it has matured into an active asset manager and developer, with an exciting pipeline of activity for the next 8-10 years.

The business is now looking to appoint an exceptional Chief Financial Officer who will bring sound technical expertise and commercial ability to this key appointment. A respected finance leader with a proven ability to make a substantive contribution to the financial success of the organisation, the successful candidate will be a qualified accountant (ACA or equivalent) and have strong commercial and financial acumen. Experience with a property or other extensive asset owning business would be desirable. In addition, they will have the ability to operate at a strategic level, demonstrate strategic vision and contribute to an organisation’s overall strategy. They should have a high level of person integrity and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
