As the longest established drama school in the UK, LAMDA is a world-leading, specialist conservatoire, based in the heart of London, offering exceptional vocational training to actors, stage managers, technicians, directors and designers. This is a very exciting time for the organisation. LAMDA is now seeking a Director of Development to lead and develop a comprehensive fundraising strategy and team. You will have a proven track record in significant fundraising and at a senior level. You will have led successful fundraising applications from major UK and international Trusts, Foundations, and the commercial and corporate sectors. You will have worked with significant major donors and individuals. You will assist the organisation in developing the fundraising for further bursaries and scholarships to ensure that the next generation of actors can be trained at LAMDA regardless of background or financial circumstances. You will enjoy working at a senior management level, and will want to expand LAMDA’s outreach work, and develop the fundraising strategy in the United States.

The successful candidate will bring great personal dynamism, strong management and leadership skills, the ability to win support for a cause from a wide range of stakeholders, and a clear understanding of and passion for LAMDA’s purpose and mission.
