Dolphin Living’s mission is to provide high quality, truly affordable housing, in desirable locations, near good transport links, for working Londoners on modest incomes. Our target customers are the people who make the city work – teachers, nurses, drivers, social workers, actors, police, restauranteurs, craftspeople, designers – all the people who need to live or work in town and who want well-designed homes at an affordable price.

Established in 2005, Dolphin Living is a growing landlord and developer, with 800 homes across nine inner London boroughs; over 80% of our homes are let at genuinely affordable rents, which are on average about half the market rate. We work in a diverse range of London locations, from Lewisham, Ealing and Walthamstow to Westminster, Pimlico and Maida vale and other parts of prime central London.  Hopkins Street is our highly sustainable development of 78 apartments in the heart of Soho, and our portfolio also includes 77 apartments in a landmark building within the Kings Cross Regeneration Project.

We are now looking for a forward-looking and experienced new Finance Director to join our team of 13 people based near Victoria station in London. Our Finance Director will play a key role alongside our board, CEO and 2 other Directors, in shaping and delivering our strategy. With a brief across both finance and IT (previous experience of working beyond just finance is desirable but not essential), they will ensure we have the resources, systems and partnerships we need to grow, and to deliver outstanding landlord and development services over the next strategic period and beyond.

We would welcome interest in this exciting role from people already operating at a senior and strategic level in finance, and who are ready to hit the ground running in this leadership role, working closely with our executive team and high-calibre board. We are particularly interested in candidates with experience in the housing or wider real estate space, and those who will enjoy a role which is both strategic and hands-on, within a small and dynamic team.
