Downe House is a leading full boarding school in Berkshire, which aims to provide holistic education for girls. Downe House is now seeking to appoint a Director of Finance and Business Enterprise to join the Leadership Team of the School. This newly created post presents an opportunity to take the bursarial support for the School to the next level. The role, reporting to the Headmistress, will be responsible for all financial matters within the School, in addition to exploring and developing possible international and UK partnership opportunities.

Candidates will be finance professionals with, ideally, experience gained in an international context. They will have a proven track record of effective budget planning and management, and experience of leading significant projects. A background in education would be useful but not essential, but an interest in the educational and pastoral needs of young people will be important.
