Transforming lives by improving education around the world.

We are seeking outstanding individuals to join us.

Education Development Trust (EdDevTrust) is a leading international education charity. Our mission is to transform lives by improving education around the world.

Formerly known as CfBT Education Trust, EdDevTrust has over 50 years’ experience across 80 countries working worldwide on education reform projects. We work in five key areas to provide outstanding, sustainable education solutions; these include supporting national level education system reform, school inspection and evaluation, ownership and management of a group of independent schools, English language teaching and careers and employability services.

We are driven by improving outcomes for students around the world and work collaboratively with national and local governments, schools and other partners to deliver and design sustainable solutions that work to scale.   Our work is evidence informed and we invest annually in our own programme of educational research.

EdDevTrust is now seeking exceptional candidates to join the organisation as Trustees.

The new trustees will bring strong commercial acumen, energy, drive and diplomacy to the role. Candidates will be strongly motivated by the vision and values of EdDevTrust, and it is highly likely that they will have previous experience of operating at board level.

Moreover, current particular areas of interest to the board include: experience of operating in a large, complex, multinational organisation; senior experience in education policy; proficiency at engaging with or within government or governmental agencies; and/or experience of operating in the context of international development.

The appointed candidates will be remunerated for this position.
