Housing Solutions
Non-executive Director, Organisational Effectiveness
Housing Solutions is an ambitious, innovative and high-performing social housing provider based in the southeast of England. For almost 30 years we have supported our communities with the provision of homes and services for those most in need. Our strategy is to provide homes where our residents can feel safe, secure and able to thrive. We strive to create sustainable communities that people feel proud to live in: where they can feel safe in the place they live and satisfied that they are receiving a high-quality service from us.
Our strong financial and governance position is testament to our skilled and hardworking team and our people-first approach. Working with our communities, staff and wider stakeholders to provide the best outcomes for our residents is our priority and drives our ambition. It is a challenging economic and operating environment, and the housing sector faces ongoing challenges but we are determined to grow and to build as many affordable new homes as possible to meet the rising demand.
Critical to our ongoing success is a diverse and high-calibre Board and we are looking to add to this with the appointment of one new Board member. Candidates will be experienced senior leaders, able to contribute effectively at Board level, who can support Housing Solutions with future strategy, particularly in relation to organisational effectiveness. With experience in strategic oversight and governance, candidates will successfully align this to ensure Housing Solutions has the necessary resources in place to meet its strategic objectives and develop its people services. With strong business acumen, an understanding of operating in a complex and regulated environment, and the ability to contribute to a full Board agenda, candidates will have an energy and passion for improving homes, communities and lives.
We value the contribution and diversity of everyone working for us and on our Board, and welcome applications from people of all backgrounds and from all sectors. As a housing association firmly rooted in the community, we also welcome applications from people living in our local area.
