Ibraaz, a pioneering not-for-profit cultural organisation championing contemporary art from the Middle East and North Africa, is seeking an exceptional Director of Programme to lead its transformative expansion from an online platform, into a six-story arts hub in Central London. This role demands a collaborative leader who can work with Founder Lina Lazaar, to help translate her creative vision into operational reality. With a deep commitment to fostering cultural exchange, the Director of Programme will play a pivotal role in establishing Ibraaz as a dynamic international institution that empowers artists and creates meaningful dialogue.  This is a rare opportunity to shape a newly launched cultural institution with a bold mission: to foster dialogue between the Global North and South through cutting-edge artistic exchange. The Director of Programme will play a central role in realising this vision by curating and coordinating a dynamic programme across Ibraaz’s six-story arts centre and its revived online platform.

The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong track record in exhibition planning, working with curatorial and production teams, and developing cultural strategy. They will oversee a rich calendar of events—including exhibitions, talks, performances, and literary gatherings—ensuring cohesion, accessibility, and innovation across all formats.

Key responsibilities include strategic planning, exhibition planning including budgeting, partnership building, cross-disciplinary programming, and team leadership. Experience working with diasporic communities and a deep understanding of cultural production in the MENA region and Global South are essential.

This role calls for a collaborative leader with excellent communication skills, financial acumen, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment. The Director of Programme will report to the Founder and collaborate closely with the Director of Operations.
