Metropolitan Police Service
Director of Transformation

Salary: The role will attract a salary in the range of £104,000 to £130,000 depending on the strength of job related skills, knowledge and experience.
Location: This role is based at New Scotland Yard, London. There is potential to work from various Met sites including Sydenham and Kilburn. You will be expected to be in London 4-5 days per week.
As Director of Transformation you will be the most senior transformation leader for the Met. You will be required to lead and deliver transformation across the Metropolitan Police Service focusing on the delivery of the New Met for London (NMfL) plan, delivering across the projects and programmes underpinning that plan, to achieve the Commissioner’s vision.
For this role you will need to have extensive proven experience leading change and transformation within large, complex organisations (preferably with significant engagement in public sector initiatives) and a forward thinking resilient leadership style.
Reporting to the Chief Strategy and Transformation Officer, this role will drive business change, efficiency and benefits realisation, whilst influencing and engaging with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders.
As a key member of the extended executive leadership team, you will need to have a proven ability to direct, manage, priorise and sequence a large portfolio of projects and programmes. You will be expert in navigating complex political dynamics and offering constructive challenges in high-pressure situations.
