The National Mathematics and Science College (NMSC), an academically elite STEM focused college, is seeking a new Principal for January 2021 or sooner by agreement. Founded in 2016, NMSC has quickly gained a reputation as a beacon of STEM excellence. The co-educational boarding College has grown to 54 full time students and 11 academic teaching staff; its student body is diverse and largely international. The College delivers a first-class education to its students and supports them in gaining entry to the world’s top universities, including Russell Group and Ivy League institutions. The College is continuing to grow and has substantial plans in train for the expansion and enhancement of its on-site facilities.
The successful candidate will be an ambitious leader with a strong interest in STEM subjects, as well as the drive and motivation to champion NMSC and successfully grow the College through its next phase of development. For NMSC it will be important the new Principal values diversity and promotes equal opportunities, ultimately acting as a first-class ambassador for the College.
Candidates should have a demonstrable track record of inspirational and collaborative leadership at either Principal, Head or Deputy Head level. The new Principal will demonstrate the capacity to work closely with the founders, shareholders and Advisory Board and lead on the strategic growth of both the curriculum and campus.
