We operate at the heart of the UK’s internet infrastructure, contributing to the UK’s digital economy through our role as the .UK domain name registry, our cyber security work protecting public services, and our support for programmes that use technology to tackle important social challenges.

We are seeking to appoint a new CFO, who will play a pivotal role in defining Nominet’s strategic direction, with clear accountability for decision making, development and the successful delivery of our strategy across the organisation. They will operate as a member of the board, working in close partnership with executive colleagues.

The successful candidate must be personally motivated by Nominet’s overall mission and vision. They will be an experienced business leader, balancing sound technical expertise with a finely tuned commercial ability. They will understand how to partner with business leaders, and how to apply their commercial skills in a people-led, purpose-driven organisation. The ability to build capability and drive change, in a sensitive but effective and engaging way will be important. Finally, while experience of working in technology will be advantageous it is not essential.
