The Faculty of Arts, Design and Social Sciences delivers academic excellence through the delivery of high quality research and education which transforms our students lives. The Faculty has over 5,000 students and more than 300 staff in four Academic departments – Arts, Design, Humanities and Social Sciences.
We now seek to appoint a new Faculty Pro-Vice Chancellor for Arts, Design and Social Sciences. As a member of University Executive, you will be responsible for contributing to the achievement of the University’s Vision, Strategy and supporting plans. An outstanding academic, you will contribute personally to the University’s reputation and ranking and will possess the academic credibility and standing to lead the breadth of disciplines and activity in the Faculty.
You will provide strategic, disciplinary and wider leadership and vision for the Faculty and its academic departments and for leading and promoting cross University working. A proven leader, you will direct the Faculty’s activities, driving performance to achieve transformational change and enable empowered people to be the best they can be in an inclusive and high performing culture.
