Closing Date Monday 24 Jan 2022

Peterborough Keys Academies Trust (PKAT) is a growing Trust made up of five schools that have a long history of collaboration and shared working. Since becoming a Multi-Academy Trust in 2018, PKAT has worked to meet its common goals together, giving students a passion to succeed and constructing an inclusive and innovative learning community that benefits everyone. PKAT is a diverse inner-city Trust with students from a range of backgrounds speaking over 80 languages. PKAT celebrates difference and creates a sense of belonging, with each school rooted in its local community.

From the moment children join us in either Nursery or Reception they begin a carefully sequenced learning journey to the end of Key Stage 5 where the curriculum in all schools is linked to our 5 Keys: Learning, Personal Best, Opportunity, Community and Leadership.

The Trust Board is ambitious about the future of PKAT. Building on strong foundations, the incoming CEO will be working with the Trust Board to establish a strategy for the future growth and development of the Trust. This will include developing the Trust’s central functions and ensuring its operating model is able to support and deliver on the ambitions for growth.

This is an exciting opportunity to lead an ambitious and high-performing Trust through the next stage of its development and growth. The incoming CEO will be a dynamic and collaborative leader, who is aligned with the Trust’s Key Values and committed to ensuring the best possible outcomes for the children and young people in the PKAT family of schools. They will demonstrate exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, including warmth and empathy. The CEO will demonstrate high standards of personal moral and professional conduct, self-awareness and integrity and will be aligned to the Nolan Principles of Public Life. They will be committed to the safeguarding of children and staff as the highest priority.
