The Charity is now seeking to appoint a new Trustee with outstanding senior legal expertise and who will bring thoughtful engagement around Board discussion and decision making, as well as supporting the executive team when appropriate. This Trustee will join the Board to support the executive team in delivering our five-year strategy.
The ability to collaborate effectively, influencing and communication skills and a commitment to The Royal British Legion’s mission and values are essential qualities for this role. The ideal candidate will be at a senior level in the legal profession or as a General Counsel or equivalent, and will bring a strong understanding of governance and commercial law. Familiarity with charity and trust law would also be an advantage.
