Royal Holloway is now looking to appoint a new Director of Human Resources.

Working closely with the Principal and other senior colleagues, and reporting to the Deputy Principal (Operations), the Director of Human Resources is a key member of Royal Holloway’s Executive Team. The Director of Human Resources plays a critical role in developing and driving a people strategy to optimise the efficiency and effectiveness of the workforce, contribute to the sustainability of the organisation and ensure that Royal Holloway is able to achieve its academic ambitions. S/he will provide strategic leadership across all aspects of human resources and organisational development, improve services to all service users and stakeholders and foster a customer-centric culture that prioritises high quality performance.

Strong candidates will have a substantial track record of leading an HR function within a large, complex environment and have experience of delivering transformational change. Strong influencing, negotiating and interpersonal skills will be critical in this role. The successful candidate will also be able to contribute to the wider management of the College as a member of the Executive Team. The ability to manage change with a track record of organisational development expertise is also expected.
