St Mungo’s is at the forefront of efforts to tackle homelessness. At the heart of all of our services is our commitment to empowering individuals, to supporting people in their journey away from homelessness and to preventing homelessness in the future. With more than 1,500 staff and 1,000 volunteers, and support provided to more than 3,000 people on any given night, we are one of the largest homelessness charities in the UK and our services reach across London and the South and South West of England.
We believe that rough sleeping can be ended and our ambitious new five year strategy sets this as a target for us, and our work with partners, from now through to 2026.
We are now looking for an exceptional Executive Director of Finance to take St Mungo’s on the next step in our financial journey and to help us meet the demands of the next five years as government expenditure and public services are shaped by the impact of the pandemic.
You will be a strong financial strategist who will lead and develop our talented Finance team, and develop business support for the growth of new business and our significant property portfolio, as well as ensuring we operate efficiently and cost effectively. You will lead on the development and implementation of a robust plan to ensure St Mungo’s financial strength and resilience in the immediate and longer term. As part of a collaborative Executive team, you will contribute to providing visible, inspiring and engaging leadership, direction and decision-making within St Mungo’s as a whole as we look to deliver our five year strategic plan.
If you believe you have the ambition and ability, are passionate about our mission and want to work innovatively to achieve tangible outcomes for our clients, then we would love to hear from you.
At St Mungo’s, diversity is essential to the success of our organisation and we actively encourage applications from a broad and deep range of backgrounds and experiences. We have an active strategy to ensure that the racial diversity of our workforce is fully represented at our most senior levels.
