The Clore Duffield Foundation is a leading grant making charity with a focus on the arts and education. Historically great success has been achieved in supporting cultural learning, the creation of learning spaces within arts and heritage organisations, leadership training, and enhancing Jewish life. The Foundation has been distributing funds to charities since 1964. Founded by Sir Charles Clore, the Foundation is now chaired by his daughter, Dame Vivien Duffield. The Foundation has funded over 65 museum, gallery, heritage and performing arts learning spaces across the UK since 2000. It has successfully created two leaderships programmes, for the cultural and social sectors, and is the founding funder of JW3, London’s Jewish Community Centre.
The Foundation is now looking to appoint a new Director to run the Foundation’s office. The successful candidate will be an intelligent and engaging individual and will ideally bring experience of working in the arts and/or education sectors and have a good understanding of grant giving and the philanthropic sector. The post-holder will need excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. The role will require good administrative skills and financial literacy.
