TWI is embarking upon a period of exciting development under the leadership of CEO, Aamir Khalid. It is against this backdrop that the organisation is seeking to appoint a new Finance Director: the successful candidate will take on a pivotal and demanding role in driving and executing this strategy. The FD’s role will be varied and wide reaching: s/he will provide strategic and operational advice to the CEO, Council and executive team, whilst being empowered to own and lead the finance team in support of commercial activity. The successful candidate will maintain financial and commercial strategies to ensure TWI’s financial security, long-term development and well-being, and by extension its wider stakeholders.

This role calls for an outstanding financial and commercial leader, who brings an entrepreneurial and enabling mindset as well as a breadth of experience, ideally in organisations going through change or transformation. Candidates will be able to demonstrate proven experience of operating at CFO/FD level, and ideally recent experience of working in a global business. S/he will enjoy working with a range of internal and external stakeholders and be highly effective at both strategic and operational levels. Finally, candidates must bring a genuine personal passion for and commitment to TWI’s vision and mission.
