Reports to: The Board of WRAP via the Chair of the Board
Do you want to solve climate change?
For over two decades, WRAP has been at the forefront of making the world a more sustainable place, exemplifying positive, future-focused leadership. We bring people and organisations together, acting on facts, to drive focused outcomes and catalyse meaningful change. We have helped the UK reduce food waste by 27%, the carbon impact of UK clothing by 16% and water footprint by 19% as well as lowering the use of problematic or unnecessary plastic packaging sold in the UK by 40% since 2018. From our UK roots, our work has expanded internationally to over 40 countries worldwide. WRAP however, is at a crossroads. The planet is in crisis and as a sector and a movement seeking to address our enormous environmental challenges – we have to do more and at a much faster pace than we are today.
WRAP is looking for a brave and innovative, new CEO, who can harness our potential and drive our strategic ambitions; significantly scale our capabilities and resources and exponentially increase our impact. As CEO, you will seek to stretch us, challenge assumptions and drive even greater performance, all while nurturing our positive, supportive, developmental, learning culture.
You will be an established leader with a proven track record of leading and materially scaling the capabilities and income of an organisation in the not for profit, commercial or public sectors. You will have the credibility, experience and network to help grow the international reach and impact of WRAP, with the communication skills to be a powerful advocate for our mission. Candidates will bring significant commercial, business development and people leadership skills along with energy, passion and a deep commitment to WRAP, its mission and its values.
WRAP is committed to diversity and welcomes applicants irrespective of religion, age, sex, sexual orientation, gender reassignment, marital status, disability or race.
