What is important is that clients feel genuinely understood. Not just their brief, but what they're really trying to achieve and why it matters.”

Grace Collier-Large Co-Head of Research

Grace is Co-Head of Research at Saxton Bampfylde, leading a team whose curiosity and rigour sit at the heart of the firm’s work. She first joined Saxton Bampfylde in 2017 as a Researcher, contributing to more than 90 appointments across a wide range of sectors, before becoming Head of Research.

Alongside her work, Grace volunteered with Circles South East, a charity working to reduce reoffending by supporting the safe reintegration of high-risk sex offenders into the community upon their release from prison. The experience sparked a deeper interest in criminal justice, and with Saxton Bampfylde’s encouragement she went on to study an MSc in Criminology at Birkbeck, University of London. She then joined the Ministry of Justice as Domestic Abuse Strategy Lead, working on the development of new protective orders for victims and contributing to cross-government work on prisons capacity. Grace returned to Saxton Bampfylde in 2025 as a Researcher, her policy experience and voluntary work bringing a distinctive lens to her work across the public and social sectors.
