Third Party Code of Conduct

  1. Purpose and Scope

This Code of Conduct sets out the standards expected of all third parties who engage with Saxton Bampfylde. It reflects our commitment to a safe, respectful and professional environment free from inappropriate conduct.

It applies to all work-related interactions connected with our business, including recruitment activity, meetings, events, travel and business-related communications, and supports our zero-tolerance approach to inappropriate behaviour.

 

  1. Standards of Behaviour

Third parties must behave professionally, respectfully and with appropriate boundaries at all times. Communications and conduct should protect dignity, privacy and personal safety.

Saxton Bampfylde will not tolerate behaviour that causes offence, discomfort or distress, undermines dignity, or creates an unsafe or hostile environment. This includes harassment, discrimination, bullying, intimidation, misuse of authority, unwanted contact or other inappropriate conduct.

 

  1. Additional Responsibilities

Clients must ensure their representatives comply with this Code, engage appropriately with candidates and Saxton Bampfylde colleagues, address concerns promptly and prevent retaliation against anyone who raises a concern.

Candidates are expected to engage professionally throughout the recruitment process, respect boundaries and follow process guidance.

Suppliers, contractors, advisers and service providers must ensure those acting on their behalf comply with this Code and take reasonable steps to prevent, address and cooperate on concerns.

 

  1. Reporting Concerns

Concerns about a potential breach of this Code should be reported to:

Reports will be handled sensitively, confidentially where possible, and assessed promptly and fairly.

 

  1. Consequences of Breach

Saxton Bampfylde reserves the right to take appropriate action in response to breaches of this Code.

 

  1. Implementation and Review

This Code may be referenced in relevant agreements and shared with third parties as appropriate. It is supported by internal escalation processes and will be reviewed periodically to remain aligned with legal requirements and best practice.
