Sean joined Saxton Bampfylde as a Researcher in 2026, bringing with him several years of experience in recruitment and executive search. He holds both an undergraduate and master’s degree in Politics from Newcastle University, a grounding that led him naturally towards roles where understanding institutions, governance and public life genuinely matters.
He began his recruitment career in the private sector, working across legal, finance and HR, before moving into executive search with a firm specialising in local government, where his political knowledge found its proper context. After two and a half years there, he joined Saxton Bampfylde to broaden his experience across the firm’s wider range of sectors and clients.
