Ed Bampfylde Head of Arts, culture & creative industries

Ed has spent nearly two decades placing senior leaders across some of the world’s most significant arts and cultural institutions. He leads our arts and culture practice and chairs the international Panorama Arts, culture & creative industries practice group, bringing together expertise across borders.

His work spans senior executive and non-executive appointments across museums, galleries, theatres, festivals, performing arts and heritage organisations, both in the UK and internationally. He sits on the advisory council of the Polka Theatre, one of the UK’s leading children’s theatres, a commitment that reflects both a genuine affection for the sector and an understanding that cultural life depends on investment at every level, not just the top.

Beyond his practice leadership, Ed serves as Deputy Chair of Panorama, the international executive search partnership of which we are a founding member. Ed holds a BA in Sociology from the University of Leeds and an MA from University College London.
