
Horris Hill has announced the appointment of Rob Stewart as its new Headmaster. Having conducted an extensive search and undertaken a rigorous interview process, Rob will take leadership of Horris Hill in September 2022. Rob brings with him significant knowledge and a wealth of experience gained from over 23 years in Independent education. He joins the School from the Oratory Prep School where he has been Headmaster for almost six years.
After graduating from Durham University, Rob gained a Master’s Degree from King’s College London. His career in education then began at Ampleforth College, as Assistant Housemaster, followed by 16 years at Eton College, initially as Divinity Master and later becoming Housemaster of Cotton Hall House.
Rob joins Horris Hill along with his wife, Sam, and three children, Katie, age 14, Izzie, age 13 and Tom, age 8.
