Aidan Kennedy Head of Social Impact Practice

Aidan leads our Social Impact and Housing practice, driven by a deep belief in the power of thoughtful, values-led leadership to change lives and strengthen society. With more than 25 years’ experience as a Partner in executive search and advisory, Aidan brings a unique blend of commercial insight and purpose-driven focus.

He advises on senior executive and board appointments across charities, foundations, not-for-profits, social enterprises and organisations committed to delivering social value, and has supported many of the UK’s most respected civil society, public and commercial organisations, as well as international groups, in appointing leaders shaping a more inclusive, compassionate and sustainable future. Earlier in his career he was a Partner in the Financial Services practices of both a European and a global search firm, before joining Saxton Bampfylde in 2014 to dedicate his work fully to the social impact sector.

Aidan serves as Chair of the Conflicts and Remuneration Committee at St Antony’s College, Oxford, and is the former Global Chair of Panorama, the international community of 24 leading executive search firms of which Saxton Bampfylde is a founding member. He previously served as Global Chair and Executive Committee member of the Association of Executive Search Consultants, representing more than 7,000 consultants across EMEA, APAC and the Americas. He graduated from University College Dublin, holds a Master’s in Politics from Oxford, and has completed executive education at Harvard Business School.
