Ian Simpson appointed CEO of Laidlaw Schools Trust

We are pleased to have worked with Laidlaw Schools Trust to appoint Ian Simpson as CEO. Ian joins Laidlaw from Oasis Community Learning where he is Executive Principal and Specialist Advisor for Inclusion, most recently having assisted the Senior Leadership Team at the Oasis Academy on the Isle of Sheppey. In his former roles, Ian has demonstrated rapid and sustained impact under challenging circumstances.

Ian says: “I passionately believe that all children regardless of their social and economic background deserve a first class education. This has been my driving force each and every day in every school that I have worked in. I look forward to working with the whole LST community to ensure that all our pupils aspire and achieve”

Ian will join LST in April 2021.
