“The work of executive search stays interesting to me because every search is about people, purpose, and potential, and identification of the right leadership that can change the trajectory of an organisation and the lives within it.”

Liz Brabyn Associate Consultant
Liz brings a combination of analytical rigour, commercial perspective, and real-world judgement to her work. A cross-sector Consultant, Liz works on both executive and non-executive appointments, with particular depth in Schools and Higher Education, as well as functional expertise in finance roles. She has partnered with clients in the commercial, health, education, and non-profit sectors, bringing a thoughtful, evidence-based approach to every search. Colleagues and clients value her calm judgement, intellectual curiosity, and commitment to understanding not just the brief – but the broader context and culture behind it.
She joined Saxton Bampfylde in 2021, building on a career that began in investment banking before moving into national security – first with the Ministry of Defence and later as a consultant. Those experiences shaped her ability to assess complex situations quickly, ask incisive questions, and handle sensitive conversations with discretion and care.
Liz studied Economics and International Relations at SOAS and the London School of Economics and Political Science. She speaks Mandarin Chinese and brings an international outlook to her work, alongside a deep belief in the transformative power of education and effective leadership.
