Clarion Housing Group has announced David Lunts to lead its development division, Latimer Developments, beginning in July.

Currently serving as chief executive of the Old Oak and Park Royal Development Corporation, David brings extensive experience from previous leadership positions at the Homes and Communities Agency and Greater London Authority.

The appointment, effective July 6th, sees David taking over from Rupert Sebag-Montefiore, who has served in the role since joining the organisation in 2017.

Clarion Housing Group chair Jock Lennox highlighted that David’s “deep expertise in regeneration and housing strategy, coupled with his commitment to social purpose, positions him strongly to guide Latimer’s continued success.” The development arm currently maintains a pipeline of nearly 20,000 homes.

Commenting on his new role, David stated: “I look forward to contributing to the next chapter of Latimer’s growth and supporting the group’s ambitious development strategy.”

The appointment strengthens Clarion’s leadership team as the G15 housing association continues to expand its development activities across the sector.
