
The University of Edinburgh has appointed a new Director of Finance. Lee Hamill, currently deputy director of finance, will step up to succeed Phil McNaull on 1 January 2019.
Hamill joined the University of Edinburgh in 2015 having previously worked for BT and PwC.
Hugh Edmiston, University of Edinburgh director of corporate services, said:
“Lee takes over from Phil McNaull who has played a pivotal role at Edinburgh during his time in office, running the university’s finance function with great professionalism and success.”
Hamill said:
“It’s a great privilege to be appointed as director of finance and I’m looking forward to leading the finance team as we work to help the university achieve its ambitious plans.”
