Saxton Bampfylde was proud to support the appointment of Euan McVicar as Non-Executive Director to Low Carbon Contracts Company, effective from May 2025.

Euan is a non-executive member and Chair of the board of Crown Estate Scotland, a Senior Consultant in the Climate & Sustainability team at international law firm, Pinsent Masons and a director at The Biggar Gin Company Limited. Euan has spent the majority of his career involved in the energy sector in different roles. Previous roles have included General Counsel and Chair of the Investment Committee at the Green Investment Bank, Head of Transaction Structuring at the Green Investment Group / Macquarie Capital, General Counsel at Ofgem and prior to that Partner and Head of Energy Transactions and Advisory at Pinsent Masons. His first role in the sector was in the legal team at Scottish Hydro-Electric plc which became SSE while he was there.
