BBC News has announced two new senior appointments. After a successful interim period as Chief Operating Officer, Sam Taylor takes on the role permanently, based in Salford. Claude Sarfo will join as Finance Director in May 2023, based in Birmingham. Both roles will sit on the BBC News Board.
