Low Carbon Contracts Company announces Tony Bickerstaff as new Chair

Tony Bickerstaff has been appointed as the new Chair of Low Carbon Contracts Company (LCCC), with the current Chair, Regina Finn, leaving on 2 September.

Tony has spent time with LCCC as a Non-Executive Director and Chair of the Audit & Risk Committee from 2014 to 2020. Tony rejoins the Board as Chair, bringing not only his extensive external experience but previous knowledge from his time at LCCC.

Tony has had a distinguished executive and non-executive career spanning infrastructure, energy, utilities, transportation, and logistics. He has worked extensively with Government on infrastructure investment and low carbon energy generation, and his strategic, commercial, and financial expertise will be invaluable as we continue to grow and evolve.

Tony is currently a Non-Executive Director and Chair of the Audit & Risk Committee at Pantheon Infrastructure PLC, a FTSE 250 infrastructure investment company, and at Anglian Water, the largest water and recycling company in England and Wales by geographic area.

His previous roles include Chief Financial Officer at Cadent Gas Limited, the UK’s largest gas distribution network, and at Costain Group plc, a FTSE All-Share infrastructure solutions company. Tony has also held senior positions at Taylor Woodrow and served as a Non-Executive Director and Chair of the Audit and Risk Committee at Wincanton plc.
