UCLPartners appoints new Chair

UCLPartners has announced the appointment of Dorothy Chou as new Chair.

Dorothy is currently Director of Public Engagement at Google DeepMind, where she leads strategy and partnerships across health, science, and public institutions. She has played a key role in major initiatives such as the AI for Science Fund and advises senior leaders on research ethics and responsible innovation.

Dorothy Chou said: “I’m honoured to join UCLPartners at such an important moment. There’s both an opportunity and a need to rethink how innovation reaches the frontline — building systems that work in practice, stand the test of time, and deliver lasting improvements for patients and communities.”

I’m confident her insight and leadership will accelerate our collective impact across health and care.”

Dorothy will begin her appointment at the end of February 2026.
