At Academies Enterprise Trust (AET), our mission is to enable our pupils to choose a Remarkable Life. AET is a leading multi-academy trust established in 2008 and today has a national presence with 57 schools across the Primary, Secondary and Special phases.

We are looking for three new Trustees to join our highly respected Board for the next phase of our journey. The members of the Board have overall responsibility for AET’s strategy development and performance monitoring, as well as compliance with charity and company law and the Group’s funding agreement. We welcome applications from candidates who bring experience and expertise in one of the following areas: experience of educational excellence at scale, leadership as a Chief Executive from any sector, and technology – specifically how it might be used to innovate in the education space.

The time commitment for these roles is up to two days per month. We are looking for outstanding individuals who can contribute to the direction and the impact of a significant organisation within the English educational landscape and thus to the lives of thousands of children.
