The part beyond our work

We come together because we genuinely enjoy each other’s company. Successes are celebrated, causes we care about are supported, and community is built beyond the work itself.

We volunteer half a day each month. Our charity committee brings the same care to fundraising as to our work itself. Since 2021 we have consecutively received the Diamond award for the CAF Give As You Earn scheme, the highest recognition for payroll giving.

We support theatre groups and arts programmes because we believe in them. We mark Pride, Black History Month, Eid al-Fitr, St Patrick’s Day, Employee-Ownership Day and many more. The things that matter to people here are marked, together.

How people grow here

Our aim is to create an environment where people develop: emotionally, intellectually and as whole people. Every Partner has expertise to share and gaps to fill. Experienced team members pass on what they know. Newer Partners bring perspectives that have not been considered before.

Most of the real learning is daily, on the job. Listening carefully after a project. Getting incrementally better at the work itself. We run Saxbam Uni, internal development sessions with external speakers and structured development to support that.

Everyone here owns their own development. There is a review programme, an internal coaching system to everyone who wants it, and genuine investment in the people who want to grow. How far you go depends largely on the choices you make. That only works in a culture where people want each other to succeed, and this one does.

Seven years’ service sabbatical

Long service deserves reward. After seven years, every Partner is eligible for a four-week paid sabbatical to pursue personal development.

Cycle to work scheme

Through this salary sacrifice scheme, you can save money on the cost of buying a bike to cycle to work.

Parental leave

Family is foremost and we work hard to provide proper support for parents, including enhanced maternity and paternity leave.

Pension and life assurance

You will be automatically enrolled into our Aegon pension and life assurance scheme. In the event of your death a lump sum of 4 times your base salary will be paid to your chosen benefactor.
