VIVID has appointed Charles Alexander to its Board, effective from the beginning April 2021 as Chair designate, taking over from current Chair Mike Kirk in July 2021.

With Board positions and directorships across a range of globally quoted companies, a number of non-executive director roles in the public and private sector, he is also currently Chair of the Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust.
Mark Perry, Chief Executive of VIVID said:
“We’re delighted to welcome Charles to VIVID where his wealth of public, private and third sector experience will help us continue to take our organisation forward to achieve our vision “more homes, bright futures”. Charles brings a fantastic mix of commercialism combined with a strong sense of social and charitable purpose, and so stood out for us as the best person to lead our Board moving forward.”
Commenting on his appointment, Charles said:
“I look forward to taking the helm at VIVID in due course. It is an influential force in the housing sector with clear values, purpose and vision for the customers it serves.”
“Charles will take over from Mike Kirk who successfully led the Board and its creation during our merger in 2017, providing the steer and challenge to create the leading housing association we are today.”
