Sitting at the heart of the Nova Education Trust, Melton Vale Sixth Form College is an outstanding college providing first class sixth form education for the students of Melton Mowbray and the surrounding area. Specialist A-level teaching staff, superb purpose-built facilities, an academic curriculum complemented by a bespoke vocational curriculum and expert support are the cornerstones of the provision. Melton Vale is now seeking a new Headteacher to lead this centre and build on its reputation for exceptional results and all-round care. Working in close partnership with the Trust central team, the Headteacher will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the college, setting and implementing the strategic vision for the college and working to increase pupil admission numbers.

The successful candidate will be an exceptional individual who can bring dynamic, aspirational and intelligent leadership experience gained as part of a Senior Leadership Team. A qualified teacher, they will have a proven track record of raising standards as well as performance management. They will be excellent communicators and stakeholder managers and demonstrably committed to both staff and student welfare whilst simultaneously striving for the highest educational outcomes.
