We are now looking for an exceptional and dynamic senior finance and operations professional to fill this critical role, who will be responsible for all financial and operational aspects of the Trust, (which has an annual turnover of £55 million and employs over 1,250 staff). They will support the CEO on strategic matters and working at the apex of the Trust as part of the executive director team, they will act as a Trust figurehead with a broad strategic remit and the requisite presence and profile to act as deputy for the CEO when necessary.

The successful candidate will be a qualified accountant with a strong track record in leadership and management of people, finance and other resources at a scale commensurate with CAT. They will have strong process and project management skills, with the capacity to deliver organisational change and transformation, operating to the highest professional standards. They will be an outstanding communicator, who can build effective relationships both within the Trust and with external stakeholders. Crucially, they will be driven by values that align with the Trust’s conviction that all young people have talent and the potential to achieve more than they ever thought possible.
