Director of Schools (Primary)
With a mission to be beacons of outstanding local provision, Community Academies Trust (CAT) is a Multi Academy Trust comprising of 13 primary and 5 secondary schools led by innovative and forward thinking headteachers in Warwickshire, Shropshire and Staffordshire. Working with a vibrant and diverse student population, we aim to raise standards and achieve school improvement, responding to the needs and aspirations of the communities we serve. We are now looking for two dynamic and inspirational educational leaders to fill two new roles on our senior leadership team: Director of Schools (Primary) and Director of Schools (Secondary). These roles will provide strategic and operational leadership as members of the Trust education team. Modelling the values of the Trust, they will drive continuous improvement with a clear vision and strategy, supporting Heads as an enabling and empowering leader. They will act as an advocate for the Trust with the wider community and stakeholders and on occasion deputise for the Executive Director of Education.
The successful candidates will bring experience of multi-school leadership and improvement, having worked with a variety of schools including high deprivation and high challenge schools. They will have a deep understanding of the education landscape and context relevant to their phase, as well as expertise and skills in school evaluation. They will have a collaborative approach and high emotional intelligence, enabling them to work effectively in partnership with Heads, fellow Directors and the executive team to deliver on the Trust’s mission. Crucially, they will be driven by values that align with the Trust’s conviction that all young people have talent and the potential to achieve more than they ever thought possible.
