We are the Environment Agency, working to protect and improve the environment and reduce the impacts of a changing climate on people and wildlife. Our people are central to this mission, and we are committed to equality, diversity, inclusion, and helping our teams find new ways of working to deliver lasting impact.

We are recruiting for a Deputy Director of Data Services and Assurance to lead the delivery of robust, compliant, and high-performing data and information management services to the Environment Agency. This role is responsible for ensuring the organisation’s data assets are well-governed, accessible, secure, and used effectively to support business decisions, public transparency, operational effectiveness, and statutory compliance.
