Highgate is a different kind of independent school, whose charitable ethos is an inextricable part of both staff and pupil DNA. Highgate is connected to, and a part of, a community, with partnerships with over 60 state schools across 7 London boroughs. Highgate is dedicated to helping children thrive both within and outside the School, including its commitment to transformative means-tested bursaries, its Chrysalis programme of partnership work, and its role as the founder and sponsor of the London Academy of Excellence Tottenham, an academically-selective 16 – 19 free school providing outstanding teaching and learning and university access to underserved pupils in one of the country’s most deprived wards.

Highgate’s Development Office is critical to ensuring this life-changing programming expands and advances, with donor support forming an integral part of the success of bursaries, partnerships, and LAET. Following the success of the past few years, Highgate now seeks a talented and inspiring Development Director to lead the Development Office into its next chapter.
