Ofwat is looking for its next Chief Operating Officer (COO). The COO will be a key member of the Senior Leadership Team and leads the Corporate Enablers Directorate.  The directorate provides professional corporate enabling services – Finance, Procurement, IT, Workplace Services, People – so that Ofwat runs smoothly and contributes to the achievement of our Time to Act strategy.

The successful candidate will bring senior management and leadership experience in one or more of the areas under the direct leadership of the role. They will have expert and applied understanding of the role corporate enabling teams can play at a strategic level in the public sector in a similar complex organisation. Candidates should have excellent communication skills and be confident to represent Ofwat internally and externally.

Bydd gan yr ymgeisydd llwyddiannus brofiad o uwch-reoli ac arwain yn un neu fwy o’r meysydd dan arweinyddiaeth uniongyrchol y rôl. Bydd ganddi/o ddealltwriaeth arbenigol a chymhwysol o’r rhan y gall timau galluogi ei chwarae ar lefel strategol yn y sector cyhoeddus mewn sefydliad cymhleth tebyg. Dylai ymgeiswyr feddu ar sgiliau cyfathrebu gwych a bod yn hyderus i gynrychioli Ofwat yn fewnol ac allanol.
