ART SG, Southeast Asia’s leading international art fair, is seeking a visionary and strategic Fair Director to lead its continued evolution as a world-class cultural event. Launched in 2023 and co-owned by The Art Assembly and MCH Group (owners of Art Basel), ART SG showcases the most significant contemporary art from Asia Pacific and beyond, and plays a pivotal role in Singapore’s art and cultural landscape.

Taking place annually at Marina Bay Sands during Singapore Art Week, the Fair attracts a stellar line-up of galleries, collectors, curators, and partners, alongside a curated program of installations, film, talks and performances. Art SG is at an exciting moment in its development as Shuyin Yang transitions into a new role as Founding Director with specific focus of VIP & Collector engagement and the critical task of building audiences from across Southeast Asia and beyond. The new Fair Director, whose primary focus is gallery recruitment from Asia Pacific and across the world, will be working closely alongside Shuyin, and co-founder Magnus Renfrew, as they further develop the fair looking forward to its 4^th edition in early 2026.  In addition to Magnus, ART SG is owned by Tim Etchells and Sandy Angus in partnership with MCH (the owners of Art Basel).  ART SG’s long term Lead Partner is UBS.

The incoming Fair Director will take full responsibility for gallery recruitment, strategic leadership, and fair development, building on the strong foundation laid by the inaugural Director. The successful candidate will have senior-level experience within a gallery, art fair, or auction house; a deep knowledge of the Asia Pacific art ecosystem; and proven relationships with collectors, institutions, and the global gallery network. Candidates should combine commercial acumen with curatorial sensibility, exceptional communication skills, and an inclusive leadership style.
