Chief Product Officer
Despite advances in healthcare and medicine, large numbers of people in the UK still spend many years of their later life in poor health because of common diseases and health conditions such as cancer, Alzheimer’s, heart disease, arthritis, diabetes and stroke.
Our Future Health helps health researchers to tackle this growing burden of disease. With our data, they can develop new ways to detect diseases at an earlier stage, and even prevent them from occurring in the first place.
We’re now the world’s biggest health research programme of its kind and our volunteer group is also more diverse than other, similar health research programmes. We’re building a community of volunteers to create a detailed picture of the nation’s health. Thanks to the phenomenal support of the public, registered health researchers are already studying an incredibly detailed picture of the UK’s health. We currently have around 50 approved studies that are actively analysing our data, including studies on cancer, cardiovascular disease, diabetes and kidney disease.
This is an exceptional opportunity to join Our Future Health as Chief Product Officer (CPO), leading the development and delivery of our product vision, strategy and roadmap to ensure our products and services meet the needs of both participants and researchers. The CPO will play a pivotal role in enabling the success of our mission by designing, delivering and evolving innovative digital and research products that support recruitment, engagement and discovery at scale; all while maintaining the highest standards of security, ethics and trust.
The CPO will oversee the full product lifecycle, from concept and design through to launch and ongoing optimisation, ensuring that user experience sits at the heart of all that we build. Working closely with colleagues across Technology, Science, Business Development and Delivery, the postholder will ensure our participant and researcher-facing products achieve ambitious outcomes, supporting the creation of a world-leading data resource that drives innovation across the life sciences sector. As part of the Executive Team reporting to the CEO, they will also contribute to the overall strategy and culture of Our Future Health, fostering a high-performing, collaborative, and user-centred approach to innovation.
We are seeking an experienced and visionary product leader with a strong record in designing and delivering impactful digital products within the health, life sciences or research sectors. You will bring proven expertise in product innovation and operational delivery, alongside experience of managing complex portfolios across B2C and B2B environments. Skilled at building and leading multi-disciplinary teams, you will combine strategic vision with a deep commitment to user-centred design, data integrity, and ethical governance. Above all, you will share Our Future Health’s mission to help people live longer, healthier lives through prevention, early detection and better treatment.
