Job Reference GWDB
Closing Date Tuesday 28 Jan 2020

Are you an experienced senior leader with high level communication skills, an open and inclusive style and the ability to bring people along with you in a collaborative manner? Do you have an overriding commitment to – and passion for – the education, well-being and development of young people within a 3-18 curriculum?
The Board of Governors of the Warwick Independent Schools Foundation seeks an outstanding candidate to provide vision, challenge, motivation and support for a strong team of Heads, academic and support managers, colleagues and a diverse community. The brand new role of Principal will lead the shaping of the future direction of the Foundation, including its Strategy 2025, in order to innovate and further its broad educational outcomes. This is an extraordinary opportunity for a progressive, but considered and strategic thinker, who can drive a shared vision for the continued development of this successful group of schools, taking into account the dynamics of the modern environment.
Against a background of the many opportunities and challenges facing schools in the independent sector, and the prospects this brings to strong Foundations like WISF, the introduction of the Principal will give the leaders in each school more time to focus on the internal requirements of their schools and communities. He or she will be responsible for ensuring that the agreed strategy is implemented in a way that is sensitive and respectful to the individual natures and ethos of each school whilst ensuring that, at the same time, collaboration opportunities are fully exploited. Day-to-day responsibility for the conduct and performance of each school sits with the individual Heads of each school.
