The vision of Blackheath Preparatory School is to be a real beacon of excellence and the School is now looking for an outstanding IT Director who will support the Head and Bursar in taking the School to ambitious new heights.
The IT Director will be responsible for developing and managing the schools’ ICT strategy and operations, which are essential both to the delivery of the curriculum to students and to the functioning of the operational support area. Reporting to the Head and working collaboratively with the Bursar the key to success in this role will be active engagement and partnering with all stakeholders including the Board to ensure that the school has first-class, reliable ICT provision at all times.
The successful candidate will bring a proven track record of success in overseeing ICT functions and leading large fast paced change management programmes. You will be a broad IT generalist with a genuine interest in education and how technology can be applied to help us achieve our mission and vision more effectively.
